Teenager Stole Car at Whyteleafe

A seventeen years old teenager stolen Audi at Whyteleafe and used it without insurance. At Redhill Magistrates’ Court the defendant stood before the bench as David Owen, prosecuting. Mr Owen said the police got all the information about the stolen car and the vehicle was spotted and pursued at speed into Croydon, where it stopped and the driver ran off. Philip Longes, defending, said that unfortunately, while attending a youth justice team program, his client was introduced to other young person who was so very confident and he had to drive the car unwillingly as he was forced to do it.

Fitch Has Given New IFS Ratings of “AA” to HCC

Fitch has given new IFS ratings of “AA” to HCC subsidiaries Perico Life Insurance Company, HCC Insurance Company, American Contractors Indemnity Company and United States Surety Company. Chief Executive Officer Frank J. Bramanti said “We believe Fitch’s decision to upgrade its ratings for HCC is based in part on the financial strength of HCC, its conservative operating approach and the depth and strength of its entire management team.” Fitch also improved its Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) rating to “AA” from “AA-”. The nature of risks and qualms which may have an effect on the Company are set forth in its periodic reports filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
